Credits are consumed when BaseBase processes queries, syncs data, or executes actions. Simple questions cost fewer credits; complex multi-step operations cost more. Most teams find 100 credits covers light usage for a few days.

Can I self-host for free?

Yes! BaseBase is open source. Clone the repo, bring your own database and API keys, and run it on your own infrastructure at no cost. The hosted plans are for teams who want us to handle the infrastructure.

What happens if I run out of credits?

On the Free plan, you'll need to wait until next month or upgrade. Pro and Business plans include pay-as-you-go overage options with configurable caps, so your team is never blocked.

Is my data secure?

Your data stays within your organization. BaseBase respects permission boundaries—if a team member doesn't have access to certain data in the source system, they won't get it through BaseBase either. All connections use secure OAuth.
